Welcome to Villa Phaedra

A Unique Isolated Piece of Paradise

Standing quietly among the olive-covered hills of Manesatika, Paxos, Villa Phaedra is your own private haven — a secluded sanctuary for two, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and the soothing rhythm of nature. Here, silence is golden, privacy is sacred, and the sea is your only horizon.

Designed with intention for couples seeking either a romantic escape or peaceful solitude, this one-bedroom villa blends rustic charm with modern comforts. From its open-air living space and fully equipped kitchen, to its breathtaking private pool with panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, every element of the villa invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect — with yourself, your partner, and the natural world around you.

From the moment you arrive, a sense of serenity envelops you. A quiet stone path — just 60 meters from where you park — leads you to the villa’s entrance. The only sounds you’ll hear are the rustling olive leaves, distant cicadas, and the gentle hum of the wind meeting the water.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed, an elegantly shaded patio that doubles as a cozy lounge and dining area, and all the essentials to feel completely at home — but blissfully away from it all.

Step outside and discover the heart of the property: a seaside-facing infinity pool, ideal for morning swims, golden-hour drinks, or moonlit dips under the stars. Whether you're reading, daydreaming, or simply doing nothing at all, this view will stay with you long after your stay.

Despite the villa’s isolated setting, you’re never far from convenience. Just 10 minutes away by car (or 20 on foot), a charming local village awaits with a supermarket, bakery, tavernas, café-bars, and even a pharmacy.

Villa Phaedra is more than a place to stay. It's a place to exhale.

A world of experiences, just minutes from Villa Phaedra

Close to Everything. Far from Everyone.

In 1995, during routine agricultural work, a pit burial (λακκοειδής ταφή) from the Hellenistic period (3rd century BC) was accidentally discovered in Paxos. The find led to official archaeological excavations, revealing significant evidence of early burial practices on the island.

In 2003, further research in the same area uncovered the remains of three horseshoe-shaped stone enclosures, each containing a box-shaped burial. These graves are dated to the Archaic period (6th century BC) and included grave goods such as clay vessels, jewelry, and a silver coin, indicating ritual care for the dead.

Interestingly, no associated settlement has been identified so far, leaving the broader historical context of these burials open to interpretation.

The site is not developed for tourism and remains relatively unknown to the public.

Erimitis Beach is one of the most breathtaking and dramatic coastal spots on Paxos. Located on the west side of the island, this beach is famous for its towering white cliffs, deep turquoise waters, and its wild, unspoiled landscape.

The beach was naturally formed in 2008, after a large section of the cliff collapsed into the sea — creating a new stretch of coast that gradually evolved into one of Paxos’ most iconic destinations. Today, Erimitis is celebrated not only for its geological uniqueness, but also for its spectacular sunsets, often considered the most beautiful on the island.

Access to the beach is possible via a downhill walking path, starting near the Erimitis Sunset Bar, located in the Magazia area. The walk takes around 10–15 minutes and includes some uneven ground, so sturdy shoes are recommended.

There are no sunbeds, umbrellas, or shops, which means visitors enjoy the beach in its natural, untouched form — perfect for swimming, photography, or simply taking in the raw beauty of the cliffs and sea.

Good to know:
No organized facilities – bring water and essentials
Best time to visit: Afternoon to sunset
Foot access only – moderate descent, return uphill

Erimitis Beach is ideal for those seeking scenic beauty, tranquility, and a touch of adventure — a place where nature speaks louder than crowds.

Kipiadi Beach is the longest beach on Paxos, known for its crystal-clear waters, white pebbles, and peaceful natural surroundings. Located on the eastern coast of the island, between the villages of Longos and Ozias, it remains one of the island’s most unspoiled and serene beaches.

What makes Kipiadi special is its sense of isolation. There are no organized facilities — no sunbeds, umbrellas, or beach bars — which means it attracts visitors looking for authentic, quiet beach experiences away from the crowds.

Access is either by boat, which is very common in the area, or by a narrow dirt path from the main road. The path takes about 10–15 minutes on foot, and while it’s not difficult, comfortable shoes and water are recommended — especially on hot days.

The beach itself is covered in smooth white pebbles, and the sea is incredibly clear and calm, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating in silence. With trees and shrubs offering occasional natural shade, it’s the perfect place to spend a slow, peaceful afternoon.

Good to know:
No facilities — bring your own water, shade, and snacks
Easy to reach by boat from nearby ports
Best time to visit: Morning to early afternoon for calm light and fewer visitors

Kipiadi is a beach that rewards those who seek simplicity, privacy, and a connection with the natural beauty of Paxos.

Located just south of Lakka village, Lakkos Beach is a quiet, picturesque beach known for its white pebbles, clear turquoise waters, and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by lush greenery and olive trees, it offers a more secluded alternative to the busier nearby beaches.

The beach stretches along a gently curving bay and is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing with a book. The sea is typically calm, and the clarity of the water makes it excellent for exploring the underwater landscape.

Access to Lakkos Beach is easy by foot, car, or boat. There is a footpath from Lakka that takes around 10–15 minutes, or you can drive and park nearby before walking down a short trail. While there are no organized facilities on the beach itself, Lakka village — with its shops, tavernas, and cafés — is very close by.

Good to know:
No sunbeds or bars — bring your own shade if needed
Quiet and family-friendly
Great for snorkeling and gentle swimming
Shaded areas available naturally in the afternoon

Lakkos Beach is perfect for visitors looking for natural beauty, easy access, and a quiet swim, just a stone’s throw from one of Paxos’ most charming villages.
